Welcome
This site contains applications of the Maxima open-source to economic analysis. More specifically, it contains a number of wxMaxima workbooks (wxMaxima is the most popular user Maxima user interface).
Most of the workbooks relate to Microeconomic Theory and Computation: Applying the Maxima Open-Source Computer Algebra System (Springer, 2013), by Mike Hammock and Wilson Mixon, who maintain the site. Other topics are addressed, however, and more will be added.
